Yankees Suck!
Now that I have your attention, here’s what’s up:
I’m still feeling the electricity of Wednesday night’s “Comic
Relay.” The benefit raised over $1,000 for the New York Road
Runners Foundation and their running-based physical education
programs. And while a dollar amount can be placed on the night,
seeing an audience laugh like it did for over two hours straight
was priceless! The comedians, which included Mitch Fatel, Steve
Byrne, Buddy Bolton and Jessica Kirson, rocked the house!
OTHER NEWS:
* I don’t usually promote open mics, but this Tuesday at Munchaba
Lounge (www.munchaba.com) I’m trying out a reworked version of
“Dick Evan Dyke.” It will feature Dave Matthews on vocals… sort
of. If it works, I may throw it on my next CD.
* On Saturday, May 1, I will be “showcasing my art” at Infusion –
A Long Island Art Event. Infusion will feature artists, live
music, raffles and food. I am performing a 25 minute set of
stand-up and music at 4:00pm. The event takes place at Club Ritual
in Levittown right off Exit 3E of the Wantagh Parkway. Scroll down

* On Sunday, May 2, I’m making a quick stop in Boston to perform
at The Comedy Vault @ Remington’s. Call it a warm-up for my Boston
gigs at the end of May.
* On Monday, May 10, I return to CBGB Lounge. I will play at 9:00
PM and there will be a live webcast. My friends and fellow
singer/songwriters The Stuffettes play at 7:15.

* Want to see some stand-up at The Comic Strip in NYC featuring
me? There are a few spots available to me, but if you are free on
a certain day I would know when to book. The possibilities are Wed
4/28 @ 6:30, Wed 5/12 @ 6:30 or Sun 5/16 @ 5:00.
